Pros for Africa
From Campus to Uganda
Pros for Africa is the Sewing Hope Foundation’s dedicated student volunteer program. It serves as a vital bridge, connecting colleges and universities in the United States directly with the work Sister Rosemary is doing in Uganda.
This program provides a formal pathway for students to bring their energy, skills, and passion to our mission. It is a unique opportunity to move beyond theory and engage in life-changing, hands-on service.
A Partnership for Change
The Pros for Africa program is a two-way partnership between the participants and the Sewing Hope Foundation, and it has a real, lasting impact on both groups.
For the Mission
Participants bring invaluable hands-on support and fresh ideas, helping Sister Rosemary’s programs grow and thrive. These students become our most passionate ambassadors, raising global awareness when they return to their campuses in the U.S.
For the Student
This is an unparalleled opportunity to gain a global perspective, apply your education in a real-world setting, and build lifelong friendships. It is a chance to see the direct impact of your work and be part of a sustainable, dignified solution that helps families for a lifetime.
Want to Get Involved?
If you are a student with a vision or represent an organization, you can bring the Pros for Africa program to your university!
These initiatives require a faculty advisor; if you do not have an advisor yet, we can help you connect with one.
